AMARILLO, TEXAS -- According to AAA Fuel Gauge report Amarillo gas prices are down one cent from last week paying $3.50 per gallon. While it may not be a large drop it is a result of falling gas prices around the state.
Texas motorists are paying five cents less at the pump where the average price per gallon is $3.58. While Dallas drivers pay the most for fuel paying $3.62 per gallon, El Paso drivers pay the least at the pump paying an average of $3.48 per gallon.
The falling gas prices are just in time as many travelers prepare for spring break vacations. And while motorists are seeing some relief at the pump, gas prices are still 20 cents higher than they were a month ago.
