The Amarillo Police Department is looking for the man they say robbed a Spirit Halloween store at gunpoint.
It happened at 12:40 a.m. Sunday morning at the Spirit Halloween store located at 2510 South Soncy. Officers said they spoke with two employees who were leaving the store after closing. When they closed the store doors, an unknown white male approached them in front of the store. He displayed a silver in color handgun and demanded money. Officers said he forced the employees back inside, took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot headed south. No one was hurt.
He's described by police as being a white male in his mid 20's, 200 lbs., chubby face, and wearing a gray shirt and dark pants. If you have any information that may help police in their search for the suspect, you're asked to call the Amarillo Police Department at 378-3038.
