CLARENDON, TEXAS -- The boil water order in Clarendon is now over, according to city officials.

The City of Clarendon said it took the necessary steps to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with testing results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling.

It was on Tuesday, when the City along with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) issued the boil water notice. A construction crew damaged a water pipe, officials said.
