RANDALL COUNTY, TEXAS -- The Texas Department of Public Safety says Friday's severe thunderstorm is to blame for an afternoon semi-truck crash turned fatal.
The crash happened about two miles west of Timbercreek Canyon near Mcafee Road and Washington, DPS said.
A tractor-trailer jackknifed and one person was killed, DPS said. That person's next of kin has yet to be identified.
Investigation into the crash is ongoing, DPS said.
