AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Construction on a sewer main in Buchanan Street is set to continue. Work on the sewer main is expected to be completed by Jan.15, 2013.
Motorist should expect minor delays due to the construction.
Phase I of the project, requires the closure of eastern most northbound lane of Buchanan Street, while Phase II of the project will require the western most northbound lane to close, according to a news release.
Traffic will be reduced to only two northbound lanes from Southeast 7th Avenue to Southeast 4th Avenue.
Construction work will take place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-7p.m. and motorist are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
