28 grams of methamphetamines found in Dalhart drug bust

DALHART, TEXAS -- On Tuesday Jan. 22, 2013 Dalhart Police officers searched a house in the 100 block of Osceola Street in Dalhart.

During the search officers discovered 28.9 grams of methamphetamines and other narcotic contraband, according to a news release from Dalhart Police Department.

The value of the drugs found inside the residence is estimated at $3,000.

Christopher Ray Bates, 33, was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Laurie Ann Castillo, 37, was also inside the residence at the time of the search. Castillo was arrested on an outstanding Dallam County warrant.
