AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police are asking for your help locating a robbery suspect.

It happened Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at the Woodforest National Bank Branch inside the Wal-Mart at 3700 E. I-40.

Employees report that as the bank was nearing closing time, the suspect waited in line for the last customer to leave. He then produced a note, implied he had a weapon, and demanded money.

The suspect was carrying something rolled up in a shirt that the employees believed to be a weapon.

Police say the employees handed the suspect some money and he fled on foot out the east doors of the Wal-Mart.

Amarillo Police Detectives and the FBI responded to investigate the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, in his 20's or 30's, 180 lbs., and clean shaven. He was wearing a yellow shirt, white cap, and sunglasses.

If you have any information call 9-1-1 or Amarillo Police at 378-3038.
