Amarillo woman arrested after apartment drug bust

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A 43-year-old Amarillo woman was booked into the Potter County Jail after authorities said they found narcotics in her apartment home.

At about 1:50 Thursday afternoon, a narcotics search warrant was served in an apartment unit in the 1000 block of Southwest 11th, police said.

According to police, about seven grams of methamphetamine was uncovered. Additionally, numerous pharmaceutical pills were also seized, police said. Those will now be sent to the Department of Public Safety Lab for identification.

Resident Stacy Rene Meyes, 43, was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of Controlled Substance, penalty group 1, over 4 grams/under 200 grams in a drug free zone and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Police said additional charges are pending.
