AMARILLO, TEXAS -- There was an explosion in Bushland earlier this morning.   We are told the explosion happened about 1 and 1/2 miles west of Bushland High School. Officials tell us a 24-inch gas line exploded around 1:15 this morning.  All fires are now out and the the situation is under control.

Pronews 7 talked to Potter County Sheriff, Brian Thomas, who said there were unconfirmed reports of three people being injured in the explosion, but no one is seriously injured.  Thomas also said that one house was severely damaged and another home was partially damaged.  Everyone who was evacuated is now back in their homes, and Bushland Schools will be in session today and start an hour late.

Stay tuned into Pronews 7 all day for further updates.
