Two Medicare programs are leaving Amarillo, Physicians Health Choice and Secure Horizons. If you belong to these programs and you want to remain on Medicare the Area Agency on Aging is offering their help. The group is offering free guidance to those who may need some help.

Lisa Hancock a Volunteer with the agency told Pronews 7 "We try to help find a plan that will first of all cover their prescription costs because actually not all Medicare plans will cover prescription costs on their formulary." If you would like assistance call the Area Agency on Aging at 331-2227.

Open enrollment for Medicare prescription drug and health plans is going on now and ends December 31.
