Residents no longer need to boil water
WHITE DEER, TEXAS -- The boil warning for White Deer has been lifted.
The town had been asked to boil water, used for cooking or drinking, after the storms the storms that blew through the Texas Panhandle Friday caused a power outage at the city pump station. The outage caused the tower to run low on water, which left many residents with low water pressure. Water pressure was returned to normal earlier this week but the city had to send water sample off for testing. City officials told Pronews 7 this afternoon, those samples came ok and the boil warning has been lifted.
