ANGUS, TEXAS (AP) -- A $5 million marijuana farm bust in Navarro County turned up an irrigation system, living quarters and underwear drying on tree limbs.

Sheriff's Capt. Elmer Tanner says law officers "just didn't catch them on the right day."

No suspects were around during Thursday's search near Angus, about 60 miles southeast of Dallas.

Tanner says an ID card left in a pair of pants could help lead to a suspect.

A tip to law officers led to the discovery of as many as 10,000 plants, each about 3 feet high.

The Corsicana Daily-Sun reports tent-based living quarters included a kitchen area, a makeshift shower and men's underclothing.

KTVT-TV reports the site had room for as many as six workers.

Investigators last week found similar fields north of nearby Corsicana.
