Bell will add more jobs
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Bell Helicopter is celebrating the groundbreaking for their new H-1 Flight Hanger right now. The ceremony is taking place at the company's Amarillo plant near Rick Husband International Airport.
Mayor Debra McCartt is at the groundbreaking, she said, "this addition will be extremely important to the economy in Amarillo on all facets."
The ceremony is being held in their newly opened assembly building building expansion. A spokesperson for Bell said this is a very exciting time as the company prepares for growth.
The company plans to add hire additional workers this year.
