TURPIN, OKLAHOMA -- Officials in Oklahoma and Kansas are getting ready to test plans responding to an outbreak of Foot and Mouth disease in livestock.
The exercise will be today and includes stopping livestock trucks and other certain vehicles along U.S. 183.
It will all take place in the southwest Kansas town of Sitka, and along U.S. 83 in the Oklahoma Panhandle town of Turpin.
