PORTALES, N.M. -- A Portales woman died after her vehicle rolled over Tuesday on N.M. 267.
According to the Clovis News Journal she was identified as Leona Johnson, 34.
State Police Capt. Jimmy Glasscock said she was westbound about 8:15 p.m. when the vehicle she was driving veered off the north side of the road and up an embankment. She was ejected when the vehicle flipped, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The wreck is under investigation to determine the cause of the crash.
