CLOVIS, N.M. (AP) - Authorities have identified three men and a woman arrested after a bank robbery in Melrose.

State police Lt. Cleo Baker identifies them as 20-year-old Marcos Maestas, 25-year-old Patrick Quintana, 19-year-old Juana Griego and 18-year-old Santos Preciado, all of Tucumcari.

Baker says they were arrested without incident at a roadblock on N.M. 209, just outside the small community of House.

Curry County Sheriff's Office officials say four people armed with a pellet gun, a machete and a baseball bat robbed the American Heritage Bank of an undisclosed amount of cash Monday.

Officials say the bank's branch manager followed their vehicle, reporting their location to law enforcement.

Curry County Undersheriff Wesley Waller says the four face felony charges of armed robbery, conspiracy and tampering with evidence.
