Knife-wielding robber runs off with cash

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police are investigating another robbery. This one happened around 8:00 Tuesday morning.

According to Amarillo Police, a male walked into Soaps Laundry, 2607 SW 3rd, and approached two female employees and asked for change. One of the employees told the suspect they didn't have change. That's when the suspect pulled a knife and demanded money. After the suspect threatened to kill the employee, he was given an undisclosed amount of money and then walked out of the store.

Police said the suspect was a black male between 28-35 years old. He was about 6'2" and weighed around 280 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark- colored hoodie over his face.
