AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Carnegie Hall in New York City is one of the most prestigious concert halls in the US.

And a lot of artists know performing there would be a dream come true.

The Amarillo Boy Choir will get that opportunity, before many of them even reach high school.

Under the direction of Jerry Perales, the choir will perform "A Breath of Fresh Air" there February 20th.

They will join forces with other choirs from around the country to be part of the concert of a lifetime.

"You know, everyone knows about Carnegie Hall, but so few people have gotten the chance to perform there and I'm going to get that chance," said J.T. Hassell, Amarillo Boy Choir.

"Just the thrill of only being 13 and going to sing at Carnegie Hall in front of thousands of people," said Roman Baca, Amarillo Boy Choir.

The Amarillo Boy Choir has been practicing since the middle of last year for about an hour and a half a week to get ready for this amazing experience.
