Teens arrested in home burglary

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police arrested two teens Thursday afternoon after they allegedly stole several firearms and other household items.

According to Amarillo Police, they received a call of a burglary in progress in the 2800 block of Palm just before 2:00 p.m. Upon a search of the area, officers located a vehicle matching the description given to them. Two 17-year-olds, Ferdinand Rashad Age and Calvin Brice Allen were detained and positively identified as the suspects who allegedly broke into the house, police said.

Officers obtained a warrant and searched a home and recovered several pieces of evidence including several firearms, three televisions, a computer and other electronics.
