AMARILLO, TEXAS -- 25-year old Juan Sylvester Perez has pled guilty to the murder of then 44-year-old Mark Rojas in exchange for 35 years in prison and a $5,000.00 fine.

In July of 2009 Rojas was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting at his home in the 1600 block of North Manhattan. Perez was identified as a suspect, but police were unable to locate him. Then in December of 2009 Perez was located in Albuquerque, and extradited back to Amarillo.
