NORTH AMARILLO -- An Amarillo man remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was allegedly shot and police need your help identifying the person that shot him.
Amarillo Police say four or more people were reportedly in front of a home in the 4000 block of Dumas Drive Tuesday evening at about 8 when an argument broke out. It was then that a Hispanic male allegedly produced a handgun and fired one of more shots, police said.
Christopher Preciado, 35, was struck once in the chest. He was transported by people he knew to the hospital. An officer found them in the 2400 block of Amarillo Blvd. and Preciado was transferred into an ambulance.
He remains hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
Additionally, two people were arrested on scene for charges not related to this incident. Jaime Michael Valles, 37, of Amarillo was arrested on a warrant from Potter County. Belinda Flores, 38, of Clovis was also arrested on a outstanding warrents.
