AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you haven't cast your ballot in the City Election, today is your last day.
People from all around the Texas Panhandle have been hitting the polls in this year's municipal election. Spots on various city commissions and schools boards are up for grabs as well as a few school bond elections.
In Amarillo, all places on the City Commission are contested, in fact, 11 people alone are running for the position of Mayor. So far, between voting at the Annex and at City Hall, 3,966 people have cast their ballot early. If you would live to vote early, today is your last chance.
Voting will run from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., you can vote in person in room 305 at City Hall or at the Randall County Annex, 4111 S. Georgia.
The general election will be held Saturday, polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. that day as well. If you would like to know where you need to vote, just click here and look for your polling location.
