A new County Assessor has been named for Roosevelt County, according to Portales News Tribune. Evelyn Ledbetter of Z-7 Farms, Inc. was named as the new assessor Thursday.
GUYMON
The Guymon community is coming together to help Guymon Head Start get back on its feet, The Guymon Daily Herald reports. The head start was destroyed on April 1 but sisnce then, the community is working together to help.
BORGER
Frank Phillips College's President's contract has been approved through 2010, The Borger News Herald reports. The contract lasts until July 31, 2011 for Dr. Jud Hicks.
