Skellytown Fire
The fire near Skellytown burned approximately 300 acres, the Carson County Sheriff's Office said. The fire burned through rough country but is now extinguished.
Officials do not have an official cause, but they think it may have been a downed power line. One firefighter was treated for heat exhuastion but he was not transported to a hospital
Stinnett Fire
Crews worked all night to extinguish the fire near Stinnett, Hutchinson County Emergency Management told Pronews 7.
The fire burned 1000 acres and thankfully, no one was hurt and no homes were lost. Emergency Management says electrical lines in the high winds are the cause of this fire.
Gray County
Burning about 1,000 acres, the Gray County fire was extinguished at about 8:30 Sunday evening, the Gray County Sheriff's Office said. The fire started just before 3 on County Road 3, north of US 60. Fortunately, no structures were burned and no evacuations were ordered.
