Cell phones seem to be able to do just about anything these days. From booking vacations to watching movies, smartphone apps have made life a little easier.
So if you're planning on cooking out this weekend, why not check out some new grilling apps?
Karin Caifa from CNN has a look at some of the hot smartphone apps for grill masters and barbecue beginners.
The "Ask the Butcher" app for iPhone and Ipad users can help you figure out the different cuts of meat and which ones will best suit your needs. There are also tips and timers to help you prepare it to your specifications.
The Weber's "On the Grill" app has hundreds of recipes for pork, poultry and beef, including marinades and rubs. It also has a grocery list to help you shop.
"Grill it", an app for Android and Apple, lets you browse recipes for everything from beef to lamb to vegetables and seafood.
For just steak, Omaha Steaks has an app called "Steak Time" that has basic grilling know how and recipes, along with a timer to help you cook steaks just right.
