Each weekday morning, Pronews 7 will be on the lookout for news and events in your town! Here are today's headlines:

CLOVIS
According to the Clovis News Journal, leaders of Upward Bound in the area are concerned with budget cuts. The four-year grant for Eastern New Mexico University's Upward Boun runs out Aug. 31.

PORTALES
The lack of growth in Eastern New Mexico could mean a loss of representation, according to the 
Portales News Tribune. While both Clovis and Portales grew about 10 percent, it doesn't compare to the Northern part of the State.

GUYMON
A car dealership is closing in Guymon, The Guymon Daily Herald reports. Irwin Auto Co. of Guymon will soon close its doors after several years of business in the City.
  
PAMPA
Gray County Commissioners considered a contract that would make Maxor Pharmacy the Pharmacy for the Gray County Jail, according to 
The Pampa News. The commission mulled the idea.
