AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The City of Amarillo and the Department of Pubic Health are reminding parents that their kid's immunizations must be up-to-date before they can start school in the fall.
While the city urges parents contact their primary care provider regarding immunizations, they will be holding a series of back-to-school immunization clinics. Children must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardian, and all patients must have a current shot record. The first shot will cost $5, $10 for two or more shots, however, nobody will be turned away due to the inability to pay.
The clinics will be held at the following times, unless otherwise noted, they will all take place at 1000 Martin Rd. at the Department of Public Health.
