CANYON, TEXAS -- Room 204. The new home to recent Pampa High School graduate and college freshman, Reid Bradley.

But Wednesday, Reid's dorm room looked less like a home and more like a war zone. That was pretty much the case for most of the future buffs moving in Wednesday, as they unloaded, hauled, and unpacked their things into the residence halls at West Texas A&M for move in day.

"It's hectic, I can tell you that much. It's hot, very hot", said Reid.

"A lot of people, a lot of kids and parents unloading, waiting in line for elevators, the stairways", added Reid's mother, Kathy Bradley.

Reid, along with all the other freshman, was experiencing a sea of emotions.

"It's exciting, it's confusing, you're nervous, you're scared. Basically every emotion you could think of. It's weird. I mean, it's my new home now. It's kind of weird cleaning out my old room in the house. It's kind of sad but this is also exciting", Reid sad.

Not surprisingly, he certainly wasn't the only one feeling many different emotions.

"I'm very proud, very proud of him. He's a good kid and we've loved raising him. I'm very excited for him but it's sad. He's my last one", said Kathy.
