Amarillo Police continue to investigate a stabbing that left a 15-year-old with life-threatening injuries Saturday evening.

According to officers, they were dispatched to the 2400 block of Irene on a disorderly call. The call said people were yelling and screaming. Upon arrival, officers say witnesses told them a fight happened at the home across the street.

At that home, officers found a large amount of blood on the driveway. No one was located inside but again, officers found more blood inside the house and in the yard.

A pocket knife was also found and police confirmed to Pronews 7 that a 15-year-old boy was stabbed. He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, according to police, is an 18-year-old relative.

Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
