CLOVIS, N.M. -- Update Monday 9:00a
Narcizo Soto Jr. was located and taken into custody, without incident, by Curry County Sheriff's deputies and Clovis Police officers.

Soto was found hiding in the attic of a residence in the 1300 block of Hinkle, police said.

Soto is being charged with Escape from Jail, a 4th degree felony.

Curry County Sheriff's office is looking for an inmate that escaped from the Curry County Detention Center in Clovis early Sunday morning.

35-year old Narcizo Soto, Jr. was being held for aggravated assault and other charges. Officials say he was wearing a white t-shirt, orange jail-issue pants and black athletic shoes.

Soto is described as a 5-foot, 6-inch-tall Hispanic male, about 175 pounds, with brown and grey hair, grey mustache and goatee and brown eyes. He has scars on his abdomen and on a left finger.

Right now, it has not been released how Soto escaped.

The Sheriff's office considers Soto to be dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to call the Curry County Sheriff's or Clovis Police at (575) 769-2335.
