OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Snow has begun falling in Cimarron County as an early winter storm pushes into the Oklahoma Panhandle.

The owner of the Black Mesa Bed and Breakfast in Kenton, Vicki Roberts, says blizzard conditions moved into the area about 8 a.m. Mountain Standard Time Monday. Roberts says about one-and-one-half inches of snow were on the ground a little more than an hour later.

She says she has no guests and no one is stranded. But she says she expects to be stuck inside her establishment through Wednesday as more snow falls.

The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for the Panhandle and a winter storm watch for five neighboring counties. Up to 16 inches of precipitation may fall on the area before the storm exits the region on Tuesday.
