If you're looking for an outdoor activity Saturday that benefits an important cause -- the March of Dimes is having its annual walk at Thompson Park at 10:00 a.m.
Wednesday was "Money Day" for the organization.
That's when the agency joins forces with the People's Federal Credit Union and offers up a counting room for all the team captains who bring in what's been collected so far and their goal is $360,000.
Each year, the March of Dimes continues raising money to help parents -- because it touches every baby's life, according to director, Vicki Brooks.
"Every baby is touched by the March of Dimes. From newborn screenings to the neo-natal intensive care unit, these heroes save these babies every single day and thay're amazing people and we're happy to be associated with them."
