AMARILLO, TEXAS -- More than 335 grams of of psilocybin mushrooms, along with other controlled substances, were seized during a drug search at a home in Northwest Amarillo last Friday.
The occupant of the home, 51-year-old Phillip D. Morris, was arrested and booked into the Potter County Detention Center on charges of manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance more than 200 grams and possession of narcotic paraphernalia.
Police said a narcotics search warrant was served at the home's rear apartment, located in the 900 block of South Travis, on Friday morning.
Inside, officers seized 336 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, 69 grams of marijuana and 22 grams of another substance that will be tested to determine if it is hashish, police said.
Also found inside the home was a .22 caliber rifle and a semi-automatic handgun.
