A one vehicle rollover accident in Carson County has killed a Panhandle woman.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened at 8:20 p.m. Friday night on U.S. Highway 60 about 50 feet east of mile marker 340.

Officials said 58-year old Patricia Karr Morgan of Panhandle was driving eastbound on the highway when her vehicle veered off the roadway. She overcorrected, which caused the vehicle to roll several times.

Officials said she was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
