AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Traffic on Pierce Street from Southeast 10th, south to the interchange will be down to one lane on Friday and Monday.
The Texas Department of Transportation said a contractor will be performing pavement repairs on the street. As a result, traffic will be down to one lane.
Other delays and closures throughout Amarillo:
- On IH-40, expect continued lane closures in both directions from Loop 335 (Soncy) to Pullman Road for patching and edge work.
- On the IH-27 frontage roads, expect continued lane closures in both directions from Western Street to McCormick for ditch-clearing.
- On Amarillo Boulevard, expect lane closures in both directions from Hughes Street to Loop 335 (Soncy) for patching.
- On the IH-40 frontage roads, expect continued various lane closures in both directions between Washington Street and Crockett Street while work crews rebuild sidewalk ramps to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifications.
