AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Congressman Mac Thornberry made a stop in Amarillo today.

Thornberry's visit was to address two things, taxes and the economy. The Congressman toured a local business, Ditch Witch of West Texas. Thornberry said he feels that small businesses have the tools necessary to get the economy back on the right track. Thornberry said, "in each of the last ten years, 60-80 percent of new jobs created in the United States have been created by small business. So as we are talking about all of the new bills doing this or that, or the other in Washington...what we really ought to keep our eye on is small business and the health of small businesses."
