TUCUMCARI, NEW MEXICO -- A Tucumcari teenager has learned the value of volunteering.

Donnie Price, 15, received a check for $8,500 bucks from an anonymous donor. The donor took a tour of the Mesalands Dinosaur Museum where Price volunteers, they were so inspired by the young man knowledge, goals and willingness to volunteer that they decided to make the donation.

Price goes to Tucumcari high school, the money will be used for his education at Mesalands Community College. Price has volunteered 1,500 hours working in the lab and guiding tours at the museum.
