AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Here in Amarillo, police had a rather bizarre pursuit that took place this morning.

Randall County officers were chasing a stolen vehicle during the early morning hours that had lawnmowers in the back of it.

One lawnmower fell out of the vehicle onto I-27 and the driver of a motorcycle ended up running into the lawnmower.

Before it was over the suspect wrecked the stolen truck into a house in the 300 block of East 23rd street. He then abandoned it and fled on foot.

Police are still on the lookout for the car thief and the truck has been impounded.
