AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The city of Amarillo and TxDot have been working together for over a month to find the best way to handle traffic at 3rd and Grand, but at yesterday's City Commission meeting, they hit a snag.

TxDot gave the city some new options, but it's about a million dollars over what the city wants to spend.

The best plan looks to be an overpass at 3rd and Grand, but the stimulus funds TxDot received can't pay for all of it.

Mayor Debra McCartt say's she still hopes to find a way to cut the cost down to make the project a go.
