AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, has now completed its review of the Minor and Shoulder Tap Stings policy.

Minor Sting operations are actually undercover stings that identify retail establishments that sell alcohol to minors, and now several changes have been made mostly to the detailed planning and increased supervision over the minors before the operation.

It was back in June when a sexual misconduct charge affected the state's TABC offices.

An agent out of Austin faces charges from an incident that happened during a minor sting operation.

Since then the commission temporarily suspended minor stings statewide. Beginning next week TABC agents across the state will be trained on the new policy and procedures.

Brian Bond with the Amarillo office says they hope to see local operations start back up at the beginning of the fiscal year.
