CLOVIS, NEW MEXICO -- According to the Clovis News Journal, the Curry County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fight between two teenage boys at the Curry County Fair that happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday, which resulted in one boy being transported to the hospital with knife wounds.
Sheriff Wesley Waller said deputies found the 16-year-old in the parking lot. The teen had received several minor puncture wounds and lacerations, Waller said.
The boy told deputies he got into an argument with another teen in the midway area of the fairgrounds, and they went out to the east parking lot to fight.
The victim said the 14-year-old pulled out a knife and stabbed him, then left, Waller said.
