SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS -- A Judge is under fire in San Antonio. In September 2007, Judge Sharon Keller told lawyers the court was closed as they tried to file a last minute appeal which could have halted the execution of convicted killer Michael Wayne Richard

Now Judge Keller, is facing charges that could end her career in a special trial that begins today.

She is accused of denying the rights of a condemned man, along with four other judicial misconduct charges.

Keller is the highest ranking judge in Texas to be put on trial by the State Commission on Judicial conduct.
