AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Some big announcements are planned for this week, and they could affect all Texans. U.S. Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison's active week is bringing her to Amarillo.

Her office says she will officially launch her campaign for Governor of Texas this afternoon in Austin, but she'll be at the AQHA Hall of Fame and Museum Wednesday to make that announcement here.

Doors open at 11:15  a.m, and the program itself will begin at 11: 45.
