AMARILLO, TEXAS -- One man is dead after an accident Sunday morning. Amarillo police say that around 6:30 yesterday morning a Mustang was traveling northbound in the southbound lane of North Pierce.

A semi truck was traveling southbound and attempted to avoid the Mustang but the two collided. The driver of the car died at the scene.

The truck driver and passenger were both transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is on-going at this time.
