WASHINGTON, D.C. (AP) -- In a dire new warning Government Health Officials predict that half the country could become infected with the H1N1 Swine Flu this year.
Admittedly, it's a worst-case scenario, but according to a new presidential advisory panel between 60 and 120 million Americans could get sick with Swine Flu this Fall and Winter.
Another 30 million could be infected with the virus but not show symptoms.
As many as 1.8 million people could be hospitalized, and 90,000 Americans could die. That's more than twice the deaths of a normal flu season.
