AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo police have identified two elderly women found dead in a home on South Western this weekend.

Sisters, Connie Yvonne Starnes, 82, and Willa Joyce Starnes, 80, were found Saturday after a postal employee noticed they had not picked up their mail in a while.

Special Crimes was called out after police discovered the bodies in a back room.

Preliminary autopsy results show the sisters were not victims of foul play, but need further tests to determine the cause of death.
