TRADEWIND ELEMENTARY -- Juniors at ACAL are gearing up for something special this Saturday, it's the West Texas "BEST" competition. Juniors were given a box of materials from Texas Tech then they had to brainstorm ideas to come up with a robot from that stuff.

They showed off their skills to Tradewind Elementary School's fifth grade Science Club today. The robot has to be able to pick up a racquetball, a tennis ball, and a beach ball for the competition.

Each ball represents a molecule, and they need to pick up a certain combination, for example, hydrogen, to win the competition.
