AMARILLO -- A little snow on the roads wasn't enough to stop many last second shoppers. With the Christmas deadline looming, many folks made it out to do some last minute shopping.

We sent a crew out to Westgate Mall to see how the weather and crowds treated them this Christmas Eve.

For those we spoke to, shopping was just a small part of what the holiday is all about.

"We came out, because we're picking up last minute items, and we enjoyed it because my youngest daughter was off today, my oldest daughter is also off, so we kind of made it a day of family," said Tammy Reeves, Out shopping with family.

"My sisters are both coming over this evening, one is from Massachusetts, one is from Lubbock, so we very rarely get to see them both at the same time, all the family will be at the house and that's what Christmas is about, it's celebrating Christ with your family," Dalles Perrin, Last minute shopper.

One shopper we spoke to said the snow didn't bother her, and that having a white Christmas made her holiday shopping even more special.
