DEL CITY, Okla. (AP) - Del City police are looking for a man who two children say tried to get them to get into his car.

Police Capt. Jody Suit says an 11-year-old girl and 7-year-old boy told officers they were walking to school Wednesday morning when the man drove up to them and tried to get them into his car.

The children said one ran in one direction and the other in the opposite direction to escape.

They describe the man as white, in his 50s and driving a maroon four-door car.
