Investigators in New Mexico are trying to identify a body found inside a burning semi-truck near Tucumcari.

TheClovis News Journal reports that police responded to the truck fire early Tuesday morning on I-40.

After the fire was extinguished authorities found a burned body in the sleeper area of the truck.

The state medical examiner is now working to identify the body, and cause of death.
